Rogers sent me a flyer today that has this toll-free phone number to retrieve voicemail "from anywhere." The number works for both Rogers Wireless and Home Phone.
1 87 ROGERSVM (1 877 643-7786)
Toll-free means no long distance charges. Toll-free means it's a free call from any payphone. (Don't ya wish it lets ya call back within the vm system?) Does it work outside Canada -- can someone check?
I think the +1 416 358 1549 number doesn't work anymore. Everytime I set it up on a customers phone it always says: "That number is unavailable right now, Please try again later, bye!"
The 403 VM Number is also used in Thunder Bay instead of any of the 416 numbers. I believe this is across the 807 area code, but because rogers does not have a lot of towers in this area code I'm not entirely 100%.
How do I edit the Voicemail Retrieval Number?
Mine is set up properly, but let's say if someone made a mistake.
How would they change it?
I have the TU500 and speed dial (1) seems to be unchangeable in the settings.

for my phone (Sony Ericsson) i can change voicemail number by...
menu->messaging->settings->voicemail number
...should be similar for you. i added a "pause, password, and #" to the end of the retrieval number to save me from entering my password.
