Best Way to Costumize Mp3's For Ringtones for v3i with itunes

When i had a iden phone i had to convert a mp3 to wav then edit the wav with sound recorder then convert the wav again and transfer the wav or mp3 via webjal..

With my first razor i used MPT wich made making short ringtones very easy ...

and with my new razor ( thanx to bluemoto) i can transfer whole mp3's without any BS software..

But what i need to know is what is the best way to shorten a mp3 ?

Do a search on the internet for Audacity sound editor. It is great for editing just about any sound file. You will also need the Lame DLL for converting to mp3 output but can get it from the same site as Audacity.
