maybe theyre protected via DRM? did u download them through wap? thats could be why theyre protected. just download them to a computer using p2k tools, then you can rename them and remove all the ~squigly lines from the file names and re-upload them back, I had to do that when i downloaded ringtones from the rogers WAP site.

I put the "Ho" back in "HOFO"

If the ringtones you want to transfer have a padlock on them, I don't think they can be transferred. (If there is a way to do it, I'd love to know)

If the ringtones does NOT have a padlock on it, just follow these steps...

1.Be sure that Bluetooth is activated(turned on) for BOTH phones. To do this go to Settings->Connection-->Bluetooth Link-->Setup-->Power On.

In the area where Name is listed it might be a good idea to give the phone a name so that you will recognize it while doing the data transfer between phones.

2.Hit the Menu button (the one in the middle resembling dashes

3.Go to Copy and Choose Select

    4. On the Object Exchange screen, the name of your phone should be there (it might say Motorola Phone, Razr or a name you gave it.)

    5. It will seek the other one and follow the on screen prompts on the second phone.

The layout/names may appear different on the phones. I've seen the items/icons/names appear slightly different between Cingular and T-Mobile Razrs. But the instructions are basically the same.

    Hopefully this helps.

I already mentioned, if they have a padlock, ie: protected via DRM Copyright, then you CAN copy them to your computer via p2k tools and then rename them to remove the squigaly line ~ and copy them to your new phone.. I already tried it and confirmed it works

    Good to know.

I didn't see your response because it was posted close to the time my reply was posted. Yours showed up first, I guess; it wasn't showing up when I was typing my reply.

    Go figure....
