Is there a free D/L ??

Background:
I bought a V620i fro myworld phones and it can with a cd with motorola phone tools, I installed it and it worked fine. I have since sold the phone and haven't thought anything about it till now..... I bought a new V3 RAZR and the software doesn't work, I un installed/reinstalled to no avail.

What do you think is wrong and is there a download that will work?? I hate to buy it till I know it'll connect and communicate......dah, I guess everyone has said that.

On to your other question - MPT works just fine with the V3. You might try searching here or searching/asking at the software's support forum - www.bvrpforums.com - perhaps they can help with your connection issue.

I don't think that is the case. He has the purchased version of MPT from Myworldphone.com that came with his v620. The software won't work with his v3, and he is asking how to fix it. Therefore, the answer is yes. Go into MPT and there is an option to run "Auto Update" or something simiar and that will download and install the update. This should fix it.

Whoops!!
I thought if I un-installed the software and re-installed it it might help... but no!!

During the MPT install it ask for the "Skins.cab" (and it's plainly there) and i point it to the right path....... it doesn't like it and (of course) the install will not go any further.

Any ideas on this??

NOTE: I have to get the MPT software installed again to up-date it.
