My mom bought me this phone
I dont know whats wrong with my phone. All i know is that i cannot turn it on with the memory stick inside the slot it just says Sony Ericsson in white and backround is black and my keyboard light up white and just stays like that for a long time. Should i leave it like that for awhile and would it come back i just leave it like that for a few mins. Even if i turn the phone on with out the memory stick then put it in still doesnt show me my mp3s or whatever i have on the memory stick i cant even save my pictures to the card. I've tierd 2 cards the Sony 64mb that came with the phone and my 1gb ScanDisk.. And yes it is a PRO DUO.. I use to listen to mp3s be4. Hopefully someone could help me out.

14 views and no one thinks they could help me out? Could it been i need to reflash the software.. i have w800i software loaded on it. It came on the phone when i bought it. And yes it always played the mp3s. right now it doesnt find the memory stick if i connect it to my computer with the usb cable it shows as a removeable drive but i cannot open it.

What kind of software are you using with your phone? I think the W800 uses disc2phone to transfer files. Also, could it be possible that your flashed W800 version may be old? When I had my K750, I updated the phone on SEUS and the problem was fixed. Btw, SEUS doesn't work on phones that are K750's, but flashed to W800's.
