Red face L7 Questions - PTT, iTunes, Voicemail

Ok, well... I had an L6 unlocked I got from ebay, and I had always wanted the L7, so I went ahead and bought the L7 last week. I got it today. I have Cingular service (I actually sell Cingular phones)

I noticed it didn't have iTunes. Somone had mentioned on a previous thread that you don't need iTunes to play music; that it only allows you to have about 100 songs. Is that true? What are the pros and cons of having it on there, and is it possible to put it on the phone?

There is no PTT service installed on the phone. My District Manager said that PTT service that was already on the L6 doesn't work for Cingular. Can I put the PTT on the L7 and will it work for Cingular?

And is the only solution to getting the press and hold #1 voicemail option to work on the L7 is by adding it as a phone number in your phonebook? Or is there firmware to fix that?

Does registering the phone warrenty on Motorola's website apply to ebay phones if they are bought new and unlocked?

Sorry about the random dumb questions, but I did a search and no satisfactory answers came up.

Thanks all! Please help; I am retarded. I would like to learn to hack my phone and fix these things.

    Add Itunes

As for Itunes, all the info and software you need are here, provided you have a USB cable:

Done it, works like a charm with the white Itunes

    PTT + 1 voicemail

PTT will never work on a L&

    edit SEEMm for voicemail:

    Hold 1 To Call Voicemail:
    Seem 0032_0001

    Offset 24-->Bit 2--> (1 on, 0 off)

    All details here:

    SEEM Edits

For Seem edits, you basically need 2 pieces of softwares:
    - Motorola RSD lite
    - P2K tools

then you use the address I provided earlier to change the bit
But there are alternative tools and methods
They are plenty of guides, such as:
    http://www.themotoguide.com/index.ph...d5ac8fe8d56be0
If not clear enough for you, just google "seem edit guide l7", I can't do it for you! Gotta put in a minimal effort...

As for modifying, if you follow the instructions clearly, there are no issues, you can still factory reste it on top of that
