Have a CDMA Motorola? (Verizon, Alltel, Bell, US Cellular, etc) Try this forum.

Due to feedback, we invite all CDMA users to attempt to ask related questions in the CDMA Motorola section, located here:

    http://www.howardforums.com/forumdisplay.php?f=155

While the regulars here might be able to help you out with most basic questions, more technical questions regarding CDMA phones can be asked in the forum above.

The reason for this is because a lot of the technical advice given to CDMA users in the main Motorola forum can actually harm their phones. GSM phone's files, tecniques, firmware, etc, are all different from their CDMA counterpart. There are small similarities, but in general, whatever you'd do to a GSM phone can be very harmful to a CDMA.

We invite you to contact CDMA expert for your more tecnical advice, which will generall be in the CDMA Motorola subforum.

Update: There's a possibility of having a new CDMA Motorola specific subforum. It's not concrete yet, but if it is, I will update this sticky to reflect that.

I have a US Cellular RAZR V3c. Couple of questions about downloading stuff from my PC to my phone w/ a USB...

    1. What programs should I use to download stuff on my phone?
    2. What kind of "stuff" can I download? (themes, games, ringtones...)
    3. How do I download this "stuff"?

I read above that I should be careful what I do with my phone because it is CDMA... I know absolutely nothing about phones so can somone help me as far as... are there specific types of files that are harmful or will not work? if I want to download games, is there a specific file that only works on my phone? Will the regular java games work or I read somewhere about something called BREW? What is BREW?

    Thank you for your help
