We all laughed at MS's joke of a browser back then. Anyone still browsing with Netscape?? Give 'em a few hardware and software revisions and they'll get it right.
I don't doubt Microsoft may very well take over the mobile phone market as they have done in OSs and browsers. But I'm not going to "give" them anything. They are going to have to earn it.

How did you get it to work in the States? I thought it was a dual band (900/1800) phone

No, the SPV is 900/1800/1900Mhz. Guys, if you don't believe me just have a look to the FCC database.

The SPV have a lot of professional detractors. Why? Because it's a Microsoft powered product...

I CAN SAY THAT THE SPV IS NOT A BAD PHONE. IT IS NOT SO SLOW AS SOME GUYS SAY. IN FEW WEEKS A MAJOR UPDATE OF ITS OS WILL BE AVAILABLE.

If you don't like Microsoft phones, then don't buy them.

    That's all
    Regards

I dont think the Samsung i600 will make a debut. Samsung just bought 5% stake in Symbian, the rival of the MS Smartphone platform. Their relationship with Microsoft, at least in the smartphone OS area, is in jeopardy.

Say goodbye to IE and security hazards!....well except for one

I wouldn't put too much stock in that 5% stake. Motorola has a 21% stake in Symbian, and they announced a Linux-based smartphone reference platform this week. In addition, the chief of handset development for Motorola Tom Lynch told Reuters he expects to use Microsoft software down the road in their phones.

np, I was excited to read it! If this comes to pass, Nokia will be the only major handset maker not using Microsoft software.

    Hello Moto!

    Hey Genius,

You see the Motorola concept devices yet? They'll be hot and heavy next week @ CiTA.

    Microsoft-powered of course. ;-)
