How do I reset the Sk3 back to factory settings?

Ok, I got caught up in the hype about the upcoming Sk3, and now that I have it, I don't really like it. How do I reset it, so that the passwords, screen names, and etc. are erased so that when I take it back to the store, my info won't be in there?

when you swivel the dislplay open on the right hand side of the metal part there is a little hole. Stick a paperclip in that hole and that should do it

I tried that like 3 times last night, and it didn't work. It still showed my info.

Why are people saying that the web broswer is super fast, like cable? I tried it and it was alittle faster than dial up. I am in NYC, so reception is no problem.

Who said it was super fast, "like cable?" I think everyone just said that it's fast for a phone.. EDGE is faster than dial-up (not cable fast, the highest it can reach is about 200 kbit/s). But it's a significant increase from GPRS which was below dial-up.

So basically, browsing on the sidekick 3 is bearable due to its EDGE capability. GPRS is just UN-bearable.

The little hole is for a soft reset only.

For IM's remove your username and pass, then uncheck "save pasword", close.

Just take the SIM card out. I took my SIM card out and then turned the phone on and it was back to the factory settings.

Just like Jeff said "when you swivel the dislplay open on the right hand side of the metal part there is a little hole. Stick a paperclip in that hole and that should do it". Hold it there for like 1 minute. Make sure the SIM card isn't in the phone.

I posted a bit in another thread, but to reiterate:
On the Danger side of the world the device is linked to a user account. This must be dissassociated by them to clear the device for a new user account. Just clearing the device on your side is not enough.
