I really need some help... please.

I loaded up the new version of P2Kman and was removing some unnecc. files. (mostly aol kind of .jpg files)

Everything was cool until (the last I remember) I deleted a few .jpg files in the picture folder.

Point is, now I can't connect to P2Kman and when I unplug and replug the USB cable, I get a message that says....

    "CONNECTED AS STORAGE DEVICE"

"some files and applications are not accessible"

Apparently I deleted something that I shouldn't have. Anyone come across this? Since I can't connect to any program now, how do I go about fixing it?

How did I make it connected as a storage device?

I'm afraid I'm screwed because if I can't connect to the phone, how will I be able to reflex, change, delete, copy....anything???

    Thanks,

    Mark

PS. My apologies, I should have put this into the modding section. Perhaps one of the mods could move it.

Not sure what happened but my first course to fix this was to change the USB settings to Data/fax instead of memory.

I changed it back and forth at least 5 times and it never worked. Now all of a sudden, I try it again and it works???

    Thanks anyways,

    More information needed:

What type of phone is it, are you able to see the phone as a modem, and can you use the computer to transfer files?

    Bigdaddy,

My apologies. It was late last night.... The phone is a Sliver. I changed the settings under USB from memory to data/fax at least half a dozen times and though the phone was functioning correctly, I could not connect via a usb cable.

I don't know what changed but I guess on the 7th time, it connected and allowed me to connect as usual.

    I appreciate your time.
