I hear people say that they know when a city will get 3g, i was just wonderin how do you poeple know that. For example i heard that their will be 3g in CT by september but i dont know for sure. The Reason i ask is because my contract expires in in August and i dont want to upgrade and then not be able to get discounts on a 3g phone when its available.

I am a UPS delivery driver and there is a company that I deliver to everyday called Trinity Telecom. They are setting up and testing the 3g hardware here in the Charlotte, NC area.
I always have these Trinity Telecom (Cingular boxes) and I just had to ask.
If I were a betting guy I'd say CT will probably be more like October
Its funny NJ and the rest of NYC one of the richest areas in the Country will barely have 3G minus 2 cities by the end of the year. What are they doing

Charlotte should launch in the end of August. Greensboro and Columbia should launch in October.
