this is one reason for network outage in the past few weeks. we where completely down a week ago for about 3 to 4 hours.

3g is in Evansville, IN. I stopped by ATT and the rep surprising said it would turn on today. It just popped up!!!

York doesn't have 3G but Harrisburg to the north has it, lancaster to the east has it and baltimore to the south has it. Anyone heard anything on when they are closing the gap?

I've climbed a cellphone tower
I was down in Goose Creek, South Carolina this weekend and noticed that I was getting a great 3G signal for a while and then it would go away and switch back to edge. When it was on the signal was great and lightning fast. Hopefully this means that the Charleston market is getting ready to go live with 3G very shortly.

I think Charleston and Greenville are both live already.

I knew Greenville was going live and they were doing some testing. I am not sure if it is on full or not, but all I know is that it doesn't appear to be on full time in Charleston. Either that or 3G just likes to work for a few hours at a time. I would be sitting on the porch and have a full 3G signal and then just a few hours later it would be all edge. I didn't move, so it had to be the tower.

I haven't been on here in awhile but I woke up about 30 minutes ago to a big 3G on my treo 750 here in Lake Charles, LA and the first thing I thought of was to check out the forums.
