QTEK 8500 recording phone calls?

Is there a way to use the pre-installed voice notes to record phone calls? I have not been able to get that to happen

It would be nice to press a button in the middle of a phone conversation to record a phone number or name, so one does not have to write while driving
It would also be nice if Voice notes could be saved to the transflash card

Does anyone know if there is a way to make this happen, or does it require third party software

I just downloaded a program from handango.com that records to the memory card. Sorry, but I don't recall the name. Just scroll through the wm5 programs and you will find it

thats the one i was talking about. it takes a few key presses to activate during a call but it works well.

There are also Personal Mobile Recorder. You can set it to record all calls, or record manually. They also have Personal Mobile Vault that will upload those calls for archive purposes so you don't have to use up space on the phone.
