You simply put the address of the WAP proxy you want to use in the Primary Address section and the port for that proxy in the Primary Port section (if you want you can do the same with the Secondary Address and Secondary Port sections--either put the same address and port that you used for the primary or, if you have another WAP proxy that you want to use, as an alternative/backup perhaps, you can put the information from that proxy there).Originally Posted by chkdg8

What is googles proxy.
It's just the Google WAP site wap.google.com--it's not a real WAP proxy, it just allows you to access Google's WAP site and anything on it, but you can't access any other sites that aren't hosted on Google's WAP server (you can pretty much do the same thing with almost any other WAP site).Originally Posted by drmmr6622
im trying to get the wap to work on my dare here and cant get into the settings to edit it, there doesnt seem to be a paramtable1.fil on it, any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks
Any particular reason you are trying to use a different WAP proxy server on an LG Dare (assuming you are on a Nationwide plan, as you would need to be to use the LG Dare)?Originally Posted by deronfisher
