Anyone got a non corrupt copy?

OK, which file exactly? I just downloaded T83V04.ZIP and it unzipped just fine. What came out of the zipped file was:
    T83V04.BIN (21,789KB)
    VX8300DLL_VER_0_2_45_0.MSI (4,197KB)

You can always take it to a corporate store and have them flash it.

    I didn't see that V04 FW...it's not the one I want, I want the V03.

Uhh...this is weird .. I tried DL'ing again .. and no corruptions *shrug*

w00t updated to V03 on my working phone, and tried V04 on the broken mic phone, to see what the differences are. None that I can really tell.

I know this thread is old, but technically I'm not bumping it since it's a sticky.

First, many thanks to bfoos for the original tutorial. It was a tremendous help when dealing with my VX8300.

I've already downloaded the V03 firmware and 8600 dll from humpa's site for the ordinary upgrade on a VX8600, but does anyone know where I can get the scr, prl, and bin files required to refurbish it if necessary? Thanks.

Does anyone besides me still read this thread? Is it possible for me to use QPST to dump firmware from one handset and write it to another? I'm trying to copy everything except the ESN/HEX/MEID/IMEI from one phone into another due to the "Registering Applications" message at startup on the bad phone. The good one (the one I'd be copying from) does not display the "Registering Applications" message, ever. I want to use the OS and firmware and all system files from that good phone and copy them into the bad phone, with the intention and hope of eliminating the "Registering Applications" message while maintaining full functionality of both phones.

I'm in need of V03 or V04 of the firmware for my VX8300. I found the program to flash my phone but all the links for the firmware point to the same dead rapidshare account.

I know that I'm quite late to the party, 1 year in fact, but I'd really appreciate some help.
