what type of movie file is it? it could be that your movie file cannot be played by windows media player. I believe WMP only plays wmv files and a few others.

Relax. Stop flipping out. Download TCPMP. Use it to play/acess all of your video files. Forget about Windows Media Player.

it's because on your desktop/laptop's windows media player can download codecs which let your play different types of formatted videos. on PocketPC's the windows media player only plays mpg and wmv files. download the program- TCPMP.

if it's avi then it could be divx, xvid, avi raw, etc. .avi is really just a 'wrapper' for various codecs. You are probably missing the codecs to play it.

    Give TCPMP a try.
