    If Oz Messenger is SMS based then....

    Why do I get the "G" icon above the signal bars indicating that I'm using GPRS? When I kill Oz Messenger the "G" go aways and the regular signal strength antenna pops back up.

    Anyone know why this is occuring? I read that Oz is SMS based so that's why I'm curious.

    Not positive, but things like logging in, getting your buddy lists, refreshing your contacts status.... those are done over GPRS/EDGE, but the actual messages are SMS.

    Not sure, but I thin it's the way it works...
