    E815 2GB Micro SD reconition

Are there known problems with the E815 and 2GB Micro SD cards? Does it not reconize anything that big?

I had a 512mb, picked up a 2GB, was downloading some MP3's to it and it stopped at 1GB, was unable to write anything more, gave an internal driver problem or something. The phone reconized 2gb of free space initially, and as I said wrote about 1 gig. I thought I would format the 2gb card and try again NOW it doesn't list anything under SPACE, it list 0.00 under FREE and lists 1985024kb under USED and 1985024kb under total.

Any idea what I can do now?
    Thanks

Geez, there was a HUGE thread here about 2GB transflash cards and the inability of "older" phones to see all of a 2GB card. How could you miss it?

What can you do now? Use it as a 1GB card and pray that Motorola releases a fix for your phone (don't hold your breath )??

    Well

I'm new, I tried to look for old posts first but didn't run across any, my bad for not seeing any but I do believe I have a different issue now as well. Thanks for the input that it won't read that big of a card BUT.
From my original post "NOW it doesn't list anything under SPACE, it list 0.00 under FREE and lists 1985024kb under USED and 1985024kb under total."
my phone is saying this 2 gb card is all used up, but it's empty since I re-formatted it.

Actually i think your card might be gone. Test it by putting it into a card reader. I think your card is gone, i had got this problem with my 1gb pen drive. And yes, if you found what i said please answer my post, i am desperate.

    yeah it's gone

I think your're right, it won't read or right, I tried to read it via a USB, and it wouldn't even reconize it. Man that sucks.

    2GB transflash/e815

I have the same thing happening w/ my E815 and 2GB card. It only stores 1 GB but the available space sees 1 GB free. You just can't store above 1 GB.
