m510 and m300 released

Virgin Mobile Canada has released two new phones today!

m510 (left) m300 (right)

The Samsung m510 is currently on the VMC website retailing for $199 and allows you to use Virgin's newest feature Virgin Mobile Live allowing you to access streaming video and radio! Along with a 1.3 MP camera, Bluetooth, and a MP3 player this is a great addition to Virgin's lineup.

The Samsung m300 is an upgrade from the outdated Samsung a640 which they have had for quite some time. Retailing at $99 the m300 comes with Bluetooth and a built in camera.

Discuss these latest editions to Virgin's lineup here!

Well I am glad I got my LG150 when i did since it took this long for two new phones to come. But i would consider one of these two next, i just dont really like the color on the keypad on the m510, but the m300 looks like a good deal with the camera and bluetooth, and can imagine the sale prices would be quite good and comparable to what i got my lg for when i want a new phone.

I have been using a Sprint m300 the last little bit and I have to say it is worse than the A640 in every way one could imagine.

Really? What is worse about it? I have an a640 and was thinking that if the m300 goes on sale i might buy it since i hate the glossy a640. Every finger print and scratch shows up.

The m300 and m510 are not glossy, are they?

The m300 is glossy too and mirrored, but my main complaint about this thing is the keypad - it is just cheap and flimsy.

The power plug has also moved to the side of the phone and the cover is extremely fragile.

I picked up an old Virgin nokia, at 7-11 of all places for a few bucks and I think I am just going to clone its ESN to an Amp'd E816 and be done with the Samsung crap all together.
