I don't know exactly price. Because this "Motorola Razr 2 V8 Special Edition / Limited Edition"; i think the price similiar like 1,000 units "Limited Edition" of original "Motorola V3i Razr Gold Dolce & Gabbana"; maybe around US$ 5,000.

Wow! So it will have the limited edition number on the back, I presume? Like the V3i D&G limited edition ones. I'm sure there going to make copycat version of them, like the v3i D&G.

Yes, same as "Motorola V3i Razr Gold Dolce & Gabbana" copycat from the original.

I prefer buy the original "Motorola Razr 2 V8 Special Edition" than just change the faceplate.

Its not real gold..Its gold plated, the material itself is not pure gold like the vertus Check out www.goldstriker.co.uk for 24k gold plated mobile. Even the luna with full gold plating cost only 520GBP. So the value of this v8 should not be more than 1200USD. If its 1200USD or below ill be getting one

Reading the specs...you're right. Not real gold, but plated...as were the D&G phones.

Still...$1200usd...?

I'll wait a few months till they can be had for half that.

It should be expensive just for the fact that they were limited edition The D & G is not even gold plated, thats like gold color paint This should be classified in the same class as the sirroco gold with gold plating as well, which is around 1000-1200 USD

The fact is "Motorola V3i Razr Gold from D & G" has price around US$ 5,000 because "Limited Edition" (around the world only has 1,000 units) and with pure gold plated. Is different with "Motorola V3i Razr Gold from D & G" in the public sell with the price US$ 500 (first time in the public).

I don't think "Motorola Razr 2 V8 Special Edition" has price around US$ 1,000. "Motorola Razr 2 V8 Special Edition", i think is "Limited Edition". And may be someday has "Motorola Razr 2 V8 Gold" copy cat with cheap price then original "Limited Edition".

Like "Motorola L6" with "Diamond"; that's "Limited Edition" (around the world only has 100 units) and the price is more expensive then "Vertu".
