I've got some users down as well in St. Louis. You can surf the web using the browser but any app that uses internet doesn't work.
We're currently experiencing a widespread data outage that is affecting several markets. St. Louis is one of the cities affected by the data outage. *We may have more information later after the engineers have investigated further.** There is a trouble ticket open but no estimate as to when the fix will be in place. -ATT
No Edge or 3G in Midtown (36th/8th). I am getting REALLY pissed about this. I spent the summer in the Boston area where 3G was amazing, came home and it hardly ever works, when it does work it's slow, and now it's just plain DOWN.
Rhode Island is Dead for data, and SouthEastern MA
Both 3G and EDGE since early morning approx 2AM Eastern 9/3
Signal remains the same, and calls work....just Data is dead
ok is it that your phones connect to the internet but you are not able to pull any webpages or anything because I just got a new phone and thought it was defective or something because today it connects to the 3g network but nothing loads. I have an Ipaq 910c unlocked pocket pc phone. Is this the same with you guys? I am in Maryland

think about how I felt when I just did a full restore last night.......
I was ready to throw it in the lake in front of my house when it stopped loading data last night around 2AM
Out in NYC, thought it was just the usual 3G crappy service. I guess that's different if it's half the country. But considering this is par for the course in NYC these days, it hardly matters what the reason is, it's like this all the time anyway.

I hear ya, I had just upgraded from Skyfire Beta 1 to Beta 2 and I thought that was the issue.

Up in Madison, WI with Voice and Data. 3G and EDGE both work.
No iPhone data in midtown east. BBerry and LG Vu working just fine; they maybe use a proxy server for data? I don't know.
It's frustrating. I switched my family to AT&T for better coverage and better service about two months ago. It's been nothing but problems for me since.
