OK, which one of you blew up the PP CS department?
I don't think that I am stupid, and I think that I know how to use a phone. However, I have been trying to contact PP CS since yesterday afternoon and I get NOTHING!
If I dial the 1800-550-2436 number I either get nothing or I get "All circuits are busy"
If I dial the 1-877-359-6695 number I can go through all the prompts but when I as to be transfered to CS I get "your call cannot be completed as dialed"
If I dial the #737 I get the exact same as above.
I have tried all these ways many many many many times, same result every time. Anyone with a suggestion?
BTW, the reason I am trying to get them is because I called last night and activated a TnT card for 2 phones. I was told all was set, got a text telling me that I was set up, however today both phones are out of $$ on them because the plan didn't really change. Same thing happened last weekend with DH phone. The CS at the time fixed the problem with his phone and told me that next time we have to be sure to shut the phone off and then turn it back on in order to activate the new plan. Did that with both these phones....still not working.
I like the PP service, but not really happy right now.
pageplus customer service is hard to reach? and on a weekend no less!
you'd think if this was true someone would have at least started one thread or made one comment before today regaurding the issue. maybe someone could have posted an alternate non toll free number maybe?

I did 2 activations and added UTnT last weekend. First I got a text saying the balance is zero, then I got a text saying the unlimited plan is activated
On the dealer site this is the MDN/Number Status I get for one of the numbers:
MDN/Number Status
Phone Number : 609XXXXXXX
MIN : 609XXXXXXX
Status : ACTIVE
Rate Plan : Unlimited Talk n Text
Balance : $12
Expiration Date : 01/23/2010
Feature : sms voicemail
If you PM me your number, I can at least check your MDN/Number Status.
I understand that they are overwhelmed, and I don't mind waiting a few minutes on hold (or 30). However, today I can't even get to get on hold. I get shut down before I even get there.
Yeah, PPC CS has been the pits ever since Unlimited Tnt came out. If you really get sick of it, maybe you can try out Talkaway.net. They are an mvno on an mvno running on PPC running on Verizon. The only plan they have though is Unlimited Tnt. They do not offer anything else by PPC at this time. They do not have a 1-800 number as of yet. Everything is email. But hey, no holding on the line or circuits busy. You leave the message and your phone number and they call you back. My biggest problem with them is that they close CS at 7PM EST. Way too early for where I live.
PPC's biggest weakpoint right now is CS. Please train that hundred new recruits, FAST!
OK, thanks for letting me vent while I waited. I got the plan fixed...now my only problem is the $25 left on the phone number that I had before I ported...

According to Chanlin (or maybe it was OhioSchmitty) you are supposed to forfeit the $12 activation credit when porting, but any cards added before the port are supposed to carry to the new number. My opinion at the time was: "I'll believe it when I see it". My opinion still stands.
My mom wants to port to PagePlus and i'm trying to help her. But for 2 days i keep getting all circuits are buisy. Would it be better to port over the computer? Or would it be safer and better to port through calling css department?
I used Google Voice to do the dialing after I got frustrated with circuits being busy. Do not know if really helped but I got through both times a called. Have fun!
Hi Everybody. I am a newbie to Page Plus. Ported over from Tracfone about 2 weeks ago. Also got the "all circuits are busy" nonsense for days. Another HoFo member told me to just keep hitting "redial" on my landline. You know what --- only had to do that about 5 times and got in the cue.
Won't even get into the hassles of porting on-line. It never worked and a fellow who shall be nameless kept sending me emails telling me to call them by dialing #737 from my mobile. What an idiot!!!!!! Duh, I am trying to port - the phone is not active cause it doesn't have a number.
Jeez. Anyway once I actually connected was only on hold about 20 minutes and the Service Rep was helpful and curtious. They were able to give me a date and time for porting. All went as promised. Also, it was a welcome change to speak to someone with English as their first language. So just keep hitting redial.
