Wow. 80 bucks is not what I would call entry level price.

$80 for this?! And no camera? Ridiculous. From what I understand though, all the iden handsets come out of their walkie talkie/radio division vs. their handset/phone division which might explain ( a little ) why iden handsets are generally less attractive then cdma/gsm offerings. The guys in radio should really take a cue from the guys in the phone dept on looks.

My old i836 blows this away for both looks and ruggedness, plus it can use Nextel sims and is about half the cost or less used in good condition.
Sad.

The guys in iden should really really start making better looking phones. That has got to be one of the biggest complaints I hear all the time about Boost/Nextel /iden next to their text messaging issues.

Amen to that! for freakin 20 dollars more you can get a clutch or a i776. Hell, you could get an i870, i880, i860, 7100i, or any of those for $80. that is outrageous to say the least.. they're really gonna end up shooting themselves with this crap. I mean my god, for the most part, everything lately (with the exception of a few good phones) that moto has released for iden has looked like a rock with a button in it.

a rock with a button!! ROFLMAO! I love that!
Only problem is that unlike the Nextels /iden handsets of old, we get no ruggedness to go with their ugliness. LOL. These new handsets FALL APART. At least ugly old Nextels can take wear and tear...
