Blackberry 8800 link to PICTURES!!!

I thought I'd post this for people who didn't see yet. Again, thanks to Boy Genius and Engadget we have some nice pictures of 3 different models.
Personally, they look awesome despite no camera.

They look nice except I can see the track wheel's days are going to be numbered. I tried the 8100 and did not like the rollerball but looks like we all will be getting used to it.

QWERTZ and QWERTY keypads are market specific.

Most qwertz phones are from europe.

those pics are sexy as hell

The scrollball is the smartest thing RIM could have done outside of designing a model with the scroller wheel on the left and one model with it on the right.

I'm a left handed user and it's a pain using my company BlackBerry because of the scroller wheel being on the right. I can use it, but not nearly as effectively as I can use my personal BlackBerry, the Pearl.

This new one offers one other thing I absolutely must have - a qwerty keyboard. If it has Wi-Fi AND direct USB access without external software or having to have a card, that's it....MDA just got whooped.

Knowing that it will be about a year after this comes out on GPRS carriers before Sprint and Verizon get it, I hope that just skip this model and go for the same form factor with a camera...

Check out this thread on blackberryforums for all of the info:

http://www.blackberryforums.com/rum...res-inside.html

This is the thread that started it all...

According to muellerlinger, the dude from Europe who posted this images,
the first one is the 8800 called indigo. Santa Claus will bring it to Europe maybe in December.

BUT: The other two devices will come late in Q2 2007 and they are called crimson. One is T-Mobile, the other is vodafone.

Have fun with it! I've read the technical spez.. It'll be a cool device!
Together with BES 5.0 it'll be an fantastic combination. Forget Windows mobile, repligo, GPS-Pucks, Extra Navigation Software etc.. I think, 2007 becomes a fantastic BlackBerry-Year.

Tired of T-Mobile getting everything first from RIM. T-Mobile sucks in Jacksonville. I can't go outside to make a call. Cingular needs to get the 8800!

Hmm - the specs according to this site show 802.11bg.

Wonder if it will make it to the Rogers lineup with WIFI (or Rogers will find some way to disable the WIFI).

The 7290 too. TMO tends to snag the more consumer oriented Blackberries (if you can call a history of two exclusives a tendency).

I am getting worried about the size of some of these keyboards. I am a guy and if there is going to be a thumb keyboard it needs to be big enough to accomodate real hands! I hope the photos are just a little misleading as far as keyboard size is concerned because that could be a real negative otherwise...
