My Nokia N95 Docks (Home and Car)

Hey all just thought id share the Docks that i made up for charging sync and video out.

Home:

My Dock i made for Home i built into the speaker of my 27" LCD tv
http://a4.vox.com/6a00d41426e973685e00cd97218eb44cd5-pi

i can charge and Sync from the top
http://a0.vox.com/6a00d41426e973685e00d4142f9e783c7f-pi

and you can see the video out port on the side

http://a4.vox.com/6a00d41426e973685e00cd97218eac4cd5-pi

Car:

in the car i was looking for a holder (was looking at the nokia CR-39)
when i realised that the 3.5mm jack was a good holder and would give me audio out.
so all that was needed is a little nail to stop it from swivelling around.

http://a3.vox.com/6a00d41426e973685e00d4142d3ea36a47-pi

music and audio is streamed via Bluetooth to the Sony deck (so i can change tracks via the deck)

and me Car:

Those are the coolest set ups I've seen but unfortunately I switch phones way too frequently to try something as permanent as that.......and I'm not that creative either....

Very nice. NOKIA would be so proud of you. You really show how to use a "convergence" device. As mentioned at Open Studio, you "bring your music with you"!!

kudos again

Nokia would rather have him get the "Nokiamobile" from CTIA, now I call that ultra convergence.

are you concerned at all about the wear to the 3.5mm jack from long term use of your docks or damage from an accidental bump while the phone is docked?

i'm not knocking your idea just wondering if it had been on your mind. that was one of the first things i thought of when i saw the pics, well after i thought wow creative setup, and nice tv and drool a n95 so maybe that was the third thing i thought of
