Hey guys, im running a last gen ipod classic (80gb) but for some reason, these days im getting alot of hiccups. First off, my select button doesnt work 90% of the time, i have to click it multiple times to get it to register a click. Also the lag is unbearable. Im talking about a 5 second wait just to go back to the main menu. My warranty ran out this month, its not as if Apple was going to honor it anyways. I bought it from ebay, and the previous owner scratched out the serial number, that and its in horrible condition so Apple will probably think it was user damage. My question was, how much is it to get it fixed by apple? Do they fix the button, and put a new housing, or they just swap a new one for you?
