ENV2 Flashed to Metro and i need to know how to add ringtones w/out PIC MSG
I have a BIIIIIIG PROBLEM. i got my env2 flashed to metro pcs. and everyone knows when you do that you dont have internet nor picture messaging. and im trying to add ringtones and also music.
so i bought a usb cable and a micro sd chip. plugged in the phone and now my computer wont even recognize my phone....i download this driver software but i think its verizon (i dont know if that matters or not)
so someone please help me with
1) How to add ringtones to my flashed env2 with items i have
2) Add music
Wow! LOL Music should be simple. Format the micro SD in the phone then place the micro in a micro card reader and plug that into the USB on your computer. Move mp3 files into the My music folder and voila! Or so it should go. Wow! You may have turned a perfectly good phone into a voice brick. The other issue is stickier. If your computer would recognize the phone then I would suggest bit pim. But bit pim has to be able to recognize that the phone is plugged in. I suggest that you go to LG's web site and speak with an advisor through chat for free. May not want to mention that you flashed the phone with Metro though. I would just ask him what drivers you need for your phone to be recognized by your computer. Good luck with that!
since it's flashed to metro you will lose all vcast things even the music player... the only way to add ringtones to the phone is via bitpim if you put them onto the microsd the phone won't read them... the folder in bitpim that holds the ringtones is under the filesystem... i just forget which one

You will only lose the media player if you A.) Change the Brew settings, or, B.) Conduct illegal activity with the phone's ESN.
These are the only two ways you will lose the media. Trust me. Check the sig......
