Sharp 902sh camera quality? Please take a look. Thks^^

Recently just bought a 2nd hand sharp 902sh phone. I know it may be old school but its like the cheapest optical zoom camera phone to date. Lolz.

Btw, I'm not sure if I am expecting too much from the camera or is it that the camera quality is originally that low? Can anyone clear my doubt?

Seems that every picture I took has some white filter effect on it that make it look kinda little blur and foggy. Picture color does not seem vivid enough. Noise level is quite high to me in dull light area, not to say low light.

Almost all the time, even though it had focused but picture does not seems clear enough. Rarely I have pictures as clear as the that card reader picture below. The speaker photo below is the clarity that what I usually get.

Some samples:

Taken with optical zoom + flash:

Camera settings:
Exposure:0
Scene: Auto
Picture quality: Max res, super fine
Focus: Normal

All picture taken indoor in my room.

Conditions of my phone:
External camera lens is not that clear (Not sure if its the main reason for the foggy photos)

Anyone know what the reason? Thanks in advance

The problem already is that your using the full resolution. After taking a picture in full resolution, you should at least resize it...

completely normal...same feeling i got after i had a 903sh before a 902sh, probably better off with a 903sh or 904sh

toshiba 902t takes better pictures in most situations vs the 902sh...

Yep, my 902sh used to take the same kind of pictures - blurry and grainy. In fact, take away the big resolution and optical zoom, the 902sh performed equally if not worse that my GX15 (pool photo).

Everything changed when I got my 904sh I've heard that the 903sh is even better.

In my opinion, even the W-ZERO3 (Ws003sh) camera makes better pictures, especially in low light, than the 902sh.

Wao, nice photo from 904sh. Blame it on my country for not using japan phones , if not I might easily get a 904 or 903sh for a 2nd phone. I did not resize so that I can let you see the actual photo quality.

Anyway from the responses, it seems that such photo quality is expected from 902sh which is kinda disappointing for me T.T. Wasn't expecting such rare optical zoom phone to have low photo quality. But also good enough, I know that I did not get a faulty set .

Maybe because I had change from using nokia N90 to sharp 902sh phone, thats why I'm taking good cameras on handphones for granted. Lolz. My N90 has spoil recently that's why I'm getting this 902sh 2nd hand set to use.

Below are some photos taken from my previous N90 and you might understand why I'm complaining. Lolz. Btw, N90 also has a 2MP camera only.

Some indoor shots during a cosplay event (Dull lighting):

With good lighting, photos taken are reasonably nice (sry for the logo, couldn't find the raw file):

Some other photos:

Btw, thanks for clearing my doubts .
