LG EnV original ringtones

Hi everyone, I was wondering if there is a way to transfer one of the included ringtones from the original Env ("Ringtone 2" specifically--it's my favorite alarm) to my new Env 3. I have a microsd card, but there is no option to move the ringtones that came with the phone. Any ideas?
Thanks!
Nicole

Same boat here. I loved number 6 for my voice mail. I wish I could have it back. I searched the brew on the phone and didnt find the files. All the ring tones must be on one huge mis-labeled file . I hope someone has better luck than me.

I would like it too if someone can figure out how to get it or a good recording of ringtone 2 from the LG phones. I have a vx5200 and a vx8100 and its ringtone 2 on both of them. its a series of beeping rings quickly and its nice and loud. I looked on mark's cdma page and found the low beeps ringtone, but not the ringtone 2.

i had to do a 'quick & dirty' recording of the ringtone called loud beeps on my green enV so I could use it on my other phones (was the only ringtone that would wake me if someone called while I was asleep lol)
problem is, when it was recorded, it lost some of its effeciveness lol (the highs & some volume were gone)

I have been stuck in the same situation. Used to use loud beeps as my alarm clock tone. Always worked, now I have to carry my old enV with me when I travel. I have combed the net with no luck.

Get a 2.5mm to 3.5mm adapter. Then a 3.5mm male to 3.5mm male cable. Connect one to the phone headphone then one to a computer. Setup a recording program to record from the line in. Play the ringtone as you record. Then convert it to mp3 and add it to your new phone.
