I started with KU990iG_V10c firmware which was on vodafone UK and since I use O2 I wanted to debrand it(God I wish I hadnt bothered).
I used the Toto method with EFS but I ended up with a yellow screen saying "Unavailable Wallpaper File", so I decided to cut my losses and revert back to the Vodafone firmware. So I rename Toto to LGAPP and click write so that it wrote it to my phone, but halfway through I got an error and now my phone is completely bricked!
Ive read tons of threads and Ive tried all different firmwares but none of them are helping.
At the moment my phone just keeps on rebooting every 3secs with a "refreshing" yellow screen poppin up for a split second.
,EFS is now saying "Cant Open Serial Port" so I`m guessing thats goosed too. I have to put the phone into "Emergency Download" to get it to connect to my pc.
So I`m needing some really helpful assistance please, I promise if I get this working I`ll never try anything like this again, lol
cheers for any help guys.
EDIT: I can now get into EFS with the phone in "Gang image mode", so I tried renaming Toto to LGAPP again and right click and "write", its goes to around 70% with no problem and then says 2 errors :
any idea why its doing these errors and even if I get the whole of the LGAPP folder over will this fix my problem as Ive flashed with a few different Firmwares, will this make a difference?
