I like LG the best though, & they work great on Cricket
I am using BitPim 1.0.6 on both Slackware (linux) and Window$ XP computers. I have an LG Banter (ax265) phone and OEM usb cable.
I have recently got the connection and I'm able to use the Filesystem to put ringtones on the phone. I used the LG-VX10000 (Voyager) as my phone type. I also used LGUSBModemDriver_WHQL_Eng_Ver_4.8.1.exe for my driver on window$ using Mark.cdmaforums.com to get it and install the driver.
My question is : Is there any information from the Filesystem that I can forward/provide to you guys developing BitPim to help future versions and connections to the LG Banter ?
It took me some time, a lot of googling, and going through trial and error to get the connection and just want to help others. I can't afford to send you a phone but thought I might be able to help. If not thanks for your hard work and dedication to keeping this software current and open source. I mainly use my Slackware pc and love it. The only reason I used window$ is to help the others that don't use linux.
