When I downloaded the cab file for the FM radio to my TP2 all I get is that there are no stations found. Any suggestions??? The file I am using is HTC_FM_Radio.cab.
I have a Verizon phone, and the FM does not work. I do not think this is a Verizon lockdown, but a lack of software. The software (hack) works on CDMA phones, not GSM. That would mean sorry for Verizon and Sprint customers until someone makes some software for us. It is a shame the radio is built in, advertised as standard (by HTC) but we can not use it.
I presume that the FM radio on the Diamond CDMA is similar. It has two major problems: 1) it REQUIRES the WIRED headset to work, mostly because it serves as the antenna, but the software REFUSES to work without it, 2) even with the wired headset, the sensitivity of the radio is pretty poor. Overall, it is not that great as an FM radio.
