The LG Versa is an elegant candybar-style touchscreen phone that also includes an attachable QWERTY keyboard for those times when you need to type a lot of messages while on the go. The 3-inch touchscreen (240 x 480 pixels, 262K colors) features an animated 3D interface and you can customize up to three home screens with favorite features and applications. The built-in accelerometer rotates the screen automatically from portrait to landscape, and you can use rotation movements to steer games. An ambient light sensor controls the brightness on the LCD according to surrounding light, and a proximity sensor turns LCD off when placing a call. The touchscreen also offers a virtual QWERTY keyboard.
The LG Versa weighs 3.81 ounces and measures 4.16 x 2.07 x 0.54 inches. Its 1100 mAh lithium-ion battery is rated at up to 4.8 hours (290 minutes) of talk time, and up to 430 hours (17.9 days) of standby time. It runs on the CDMA 800/1900 frequencies as well as the Verizon Wireless EV-DO data network.
