Question on alltel phone deal...

So the Alltel website even as of this past friday night. Had the Samsung Delves Buy1Get1 for $29.99.

Me and my wife had to wait one extra day to renew our contracts and get new phones... (We tried instore and online it wouldn't let us renew early.)

So I come home Saturday from work and notice the site is forcing me to Verizon's site now.

Couldn't log into my account yet. But now today I finally am.
So I setup my account on the verizon page. It instantly pops up a window saying you can renew/upgrade your phones. Well thanks for giving me a popup to remind me of something I knew!

Anyway...

I look around no sign up Delve's on verizon's site anywhere (didn't expect to see them since they where/are alltel phones.).

So I poke around and notice just about all the phones I've been peaking at on the verizon site for the past week while waiting for my renewal time to be here have gone way up in price now that the merger is complete...

So does anyone know if there is a way to still get the Samsung Delve through alltel/verizon?

Also when I even tried to select a phone to upgrade to on the verizon site it tries to tell me I can't since there's a past due? balance on my account... Only thing that "Could" be past due is the bill I just got in the mail that isn't even DUE till Nov. 7th....

Anyone have any info on when some of the nicer Verizon phones will go on sale or did they hike the prices since they have no real competition and alot of the alltel customers are now being misinformed and told they need to switch to a verizon plan and get a new phone...

tried just calling them up? if there's anything past due, the system shouldnt allow an upgrade (or mre importantly, anything to be service billed). If you got a new bill due in November, check to make sure all of the October due was paid.

Looks like it just took awhile for them to get all the stuff transfered over? Now today it's letting me select to upgrade.

Along with my wifes work discount... EnvTouch for $40 and getting her the Alias2 for $30

Yeah had alittle snag when placing the order online. Got to the point to add my shipping address kept saying it could not verify. So called up the support line they transfered me over to the internet sales department? (1-800-711-7773).

Guy tried to tell me I'd have to switch my plan... Told him the last 3 reps on the support line and the last 6 or so instores told me I would not have to. He asked what phones I wanted. Told him he put me on hold came back on and said that I didn't have to change my plan ... So we keep our alltel plan.

1,000 Anytime Minutes
Free M2M
Free Nights/weekends
Unlimited Text/Pic messages
$64.98 before taxes/fees.

That's for both lines total.
He said he couldn't do the overnight shipping as it was past the shipping deadline for that. But he did 2nd day fed-ex. Should have our phones thursday.
