Mac users: Device transfer possible with DM for Mac?

I have the BB Bold (9000) and I'm getting the new 9700 shipped to me. In the mean time I've backed up everything using DM for Mac on my iMac. The problem is that I don't see any device-transfer-wizzard-like feature on this DM. My memory could be failing me but I recall seeing such feature on the Windows version of DM.

How would you proceed to transfer all data and apps from the old to new Berry on a Mac?

There is no device transfer wizard feature in the Mac DM. Just back up your old BB, plug in your new one and restore to the new one. Worked for me going from a Pearl to Curve 8520.

I've been contemplating doing that, I guess it worked with you no problem? Did your messages (Emails and SMS) carry over to the new device?

Only things that didn't go over were apps and themes and certain settings. Everything else was there.
