Swap SIM Card?

I go to the states several times during the summer months and found it cost effective to use a prepaid phone from a US provider (AT&T for now) for calling while down there and also calling home. The only inconvenience is taking two phones when I go away.....using the Bell until I cross over etc.

With my AT&T phone it has a sim card so.....as all your data is on the card not the phone, if I were to get a Bell phone with a sim card could I just use one phone and switch cards when I go south?

If this is a 'phone locked/unlocked' situation, can I resolve it?

Thanks.....

You need to get your Bell phone unlocked. Many 3rd party companies do this or you can pay Bell $75 for it.

Just throw your AT&T, T Mobile, or whatever SIM in there and it will work.
