I know where I live the map still shows solid 3G coverage where I live as it has for some time (1 1/2 years or so). Too bad the map is off by about 10-15 miles with actual coverage. I have given up on 3G being really added as it seems we have it already...
I'm still wondering why they don't show the 3G that is up in Southeastern Idaho? Edge Wireless turned it up there before being taken over, as they did in NorCal and OR, but the NorCal and OR 3G is shown. Pocatello, Idaho Falls and Rexburg all have 3G on AT&T.
The maps showing plenty of 3G goodness around where my mom lives - Zips 98612 and 98647, have since March. If *anybody* can find ATTWS 3G within 18-20 miles of Cathlamet or Skamokawa, I'll pay for their service for a year. Their own Level 2 techs admit the map's wrong, but marketing won't fix it. The ATTWS is pretty much worthless.

Maybe, just like the rest of the former Edge Wireless network, they 'forgot' about it after they took it over.
Here is my visual interpretation of the changes in AT&T coverage maps dated 10/09/09 to 10/30/09. I didn’t notice any EDGE improvements or general coverage expansion. I hope AT&T isn’t forgetting about actual coverage while battling 3G with Verizon. Enjoy!
FLORIDA – 3G expansion from Daytona Beach to Jacksonville along I-95
GEORGIA – 3G added to Valdosta, 3G fill in Macon & Augusta
ILLINOIS – 3G added in Peoria
MARYLAND – 3G expanded along I-68 in western MD
MICHIGAN – 3G expanded along I-75 including Saginaw, Bay City, and Midland
MISSOURI – 3G expanded south of St Louis along US 67
NEW MEXICO – Looks like a spot of 3G was removed NE of El Paso in Otero County (map error?)
SOUTH CAROLINA – 3G expanded to include almost all of I-85 within SC
TEXAS – 2 spots of 3G removed west of Dallas (Brownwood & Cisco)
VIRGINIA – 3G expanded along I-81 and US 211 in NW Virginia
WISCONSIN – Big chunk of 3G added to US 41 from Oshkosh to Green Bay
Lol Well, it's a possibility, but why would they show the 3G Edge Wireless put up in CA and OR but not ID?
There's 3G in the former Edge Wireless coverage area in OR? That'd be news to me! The new map still shows the "partner" status even after ATTWS assimilated Edge.

In Southwestern Oregon, there sure is, in Grants Pass to just north of Roseburg. Edge Wireless had service in NorCal, Southwestern Oregon, Southeastern Idaho and the Jackson, WY areas.

Yeah, I'll give you that one. Most of Jackson County was a Cingular/ATTWS area before the assimilation, too - they were working with us in White City, Medford, and Central Point in 04/05 on a couple of developments I managed construction of.
