Hmmm i wonder how much it will be on amazon or newegg then. If it goes for 497 then that aint too shabby at all. Might have to jump all over that.

why would the mini, with less memory, no FM trans, smaller battery and screen....... Cost MORE than the n97??? how annoying

Well, there is near-universal agreement among bloggers that the Mini is an improvement upon the "Classic," and that whatever was lost for the sake of the smaller form factor is dispensable. In addition to fixing what was wrong with the Classic, the Mini will probably be seen as a less geeky, more stylish phone. Demand will greatly outpace the older model, and prices will reflect it.
