b) is it fast...like the HTC? I watched video on it and it seemed slow compared to the HTC units.
HTC is the way to go in my opinion. Especially if you are using GMAIL as your email client and Google docs etc.
If you are using enterprise email and communications then Blackberry is better.
a)This phone is 1.5 not 2.0. Although Google Maps Navigation has been released for 1.6, but you still won't get it on this phone... at least not out of the box
b)The speed should be comparable to HTC Hero/Magic, having the same processor and all. But the extra RAM (288MB VS 192MB) on the HTC might give it just a bit more edge.
I have mixed feeling about this release. Hurray for Bell releasing their first Android phone. Boo for not choosing the obvious winner: HTC Hero (in my eyes anyways)
