No more URL trick

So I guess they figured out the URL trick and now it doesn't work. They changed it so it's a lot harder. You can still do it but the "phone id" isn't in order and the numbers are bigger. Dang.

OK, I just wanted to let yall know know.

Later,
Jamey

Indeed, looks like they're still tweaking it too...

For instance, here's the link for the TP2...
http://www.uscellular.com/uscellula...aram=prod690012
So the last digits in the URL are 690012.

690013 gave me an error, if you go back to 690010 you get a privacy screen for the Crush
http://www.uscellular.com/uscellula...aram=prod690010

And 690006 is a pink gel skin for the Crush
http://www.uscellular.com/uscellula...aram=prod690006

690004 is a black skin for the Crush
http://www.uscellular.com/uscellula...aram=prod690004

So it looks like they're doing some updates to the site to include accessories.

Most of the time the page just shows up blank.

So far only even numbers are working.

There are changes in the retired phone directory as well.

There are some changes with the URL itself. The numbers are still on the end but the URL is different.

active changes

In trying a bunch of the URLs right now, it looks like they are making changes this moment, in 'real time'.

I had already tried the 680010 that BigE had mentioned and received the error message, and right now, if I even try to look up the phones currently available in my area I get the same error message, while a few minutes ago it was working just fine.

It looks like all of the product IDs end in an even number and so far they start with 68 or 69 and are 6 digits long.

Definitely interesting that they are showing some accessories as well; gel skins, battery, BT headset were all I could find a moment ago.

It will be interesting to see what changes take place in the near future and how many of them are related to the BF 4day promo.
