Rogers pay as you go phone with sim card work in iPaq
I have Rogers pay as you go phone with sim card ,I would like to to upgrade to HP iPaq.can I take the sim card and put it in a new HP iPaq and make it work ? is there a way to make pocket PC phone work with Rogers pay as you go >?Will I still have all the features working ?I would like a phone with GPS,WiFi,note pad with stylus pen and large screen .thanks Ed
Yup I did that OK.
I took my Rogers SIM card and put it into mi ipAQ and used it to phone and browse the internet. Beware it can be very costly to use because my phone plan did not include data! If you do you might think about changing your plan to suit you needs.
Good luck.
or you can try getting the Call, Text & Click plan for Pay As You Go ($25/month) that gives you unlimited texting and mobile internet browsing. however, to get the internet working you'll have to put in a specific proxy address to get it working on a smartphone. See the unlimited mobile internet thread on the Carrier discussion forum.
