Then open your photo in Infranview. from the menu select "image" then "resize/resample". change the size to the correct size you want. I.E. 120 x 126. then save and load to the phone.
make sure you have it set to Pixels and the preserve aspect ratio is un-checked. also to make sure you save it as a gif if it started out as a jpeg or something else.
Then load to your phone. see isn't that easy.

Make sure you save as 120 x 126, this seems to always work for me. also be sure to save as a . gif (I'm sure you are since it showed up on your phone). make sure when you re-size, the "unit" box is checked for pixels and the "preserve aspect ratio box" is un-checked. if you still can't get it to work, post the original photo here and I will check it out for you.
Ill check that out tonight when I get home.. I didn't bring my USB to work today Thanks for your help though... I will also post the pict when I get home
