The following will result when transferring SIMs between phones that are on different platforms:
16k i2000 SIM in Falcon Phone:
-Phone will power on and perform normal registration
-Phone will not be able to access stored contacts or make use of data services
-Customers will lose the following Falcon Phone Features:
*600 Contact Entry Capacity (remains 200)
*Email address storage
*20 character entry capacity
*64 character/40 alphanumeric field capacity
*Assignable ring tone and 'wait' dialing functionality
32k Condor SIM in Falcon Phone
-Phone will power on and perform normal registration
-Customers will lose the following Falcon Phone Features:
*600 Contact Entry Capacity (remains 250)
*Email address storage
*20 character entry capacity
*64 character/40 alphanumeric field capacity
*Assignable ring tone and 'wait' dialing functionality
64k Falcon SIM in Condor Phone
-Phone will power on and perform normal registration
-Falcon contacts will not be readable by condor phone
*Condor Phone will always display "NO SIM PHBK" as only phonebook entry. If dialed, customer will be connected to Nextel Customer Care number
-When user tries to add new entry or store recent call, phone will perform a "CHECK SIM CARD" error. Recent call for numbers/digits will be available, no aliases
*Once "CHECK SIM CARD" appears on screen, user must power cycle or pull battery to re-register and operate phone
In General, SIM Transfer will not carry over recent calls list, numbers with 'wait' settings, call forwarding settings, net alerts, memos, last 3 GPS locations, Voice Recordings, Voice Activated Dialing, Ring tones, or Java applications.
Ring tones and MIDI tone assignments to phone lines, contacts, etc will only work when the 64K sim is inserted in the phone that was used to program the original assingments.
i2000/i2000plus phones can roam internationally with a SIM card, but NWW feature code must remain active and stored phone list cannot be viewed.
Thank you so much for this thread. It helped me, as well it will help others. This will deplete such threads as "will my i730 sim work in my old i90"?. Thankz

Excellent info...
but I'm not exactly sure what the Falcon and Condor series are yet but I have an i95 and looking to upgrade to the i730.
I'm guessing this is what would apply to my situation?...
