From the screenshots, it looks like it's just a series40. Sad, though it'd be one of the smoothest backup phones ever! How come the Firmware screen shows 7600?? Guess they used some scrapped fw for the prototype? I want I want.

What definition of "slider" are you using? Mine is more like the 7650, which I don't really care for. I think this and the 8890 are more candybars with a keypad cover, and I think they're smooth.

Memory cards?
Nice looking phone. But it would be ashame is it doesn't have a proper Series 60 interface. Can anyone detect some evidence of memory cards going in? I can't.
