P900
Hi All,
OK, I got to play with a P900 today. The P900 feels lighter then
the P800. Its thinner with a nice cool aluminum feel. The colors of the screen
are really nice, much better then on the P800. It doesn't have a high
resolution camera as rumor had it before. It has the same camera as the
P800 but, I am no camera expert so I really don't know what the differences
are. It has a video camera built in. File manager is built in as well. The
stylus is of a much better quality then on the P800 but, again I'm sure you
all knew this from the pictures that have been sent and posted on the net.
Sound quality is much better then on the P800. The keypad is solid in feel
and it doesn't have touching parts with the screen. You can remove the
keypad and the P900 comes with a mini screw driver. The back cover has small
rubber bumpers to protect the back against scratches. The back cover is
plastic and not aluminum like the rest of the phone. The
memory stick that comes with it is 32MB this time. The stylus has a rubber
tip so you don't scratch the screen like the P800.
I have taken a few pictures of the P900 and made a short MP4 with the P800's camera. They quality is VERY bad but, if you guys want them I will post them here. If any of you can enhance them using Photoshop let me know and I'll send them to you. The P900 I had with me is basically the final version. From what I know of SE in Bahrain. If they have a demo then the P900 is about a month away from release. Could be sooner
Anything else you guys want to know please ask.

Mark,
I took the liberty of calling you while I had the P900 with but, no one answered your phone. I got a voice mail answer. Sorry if I was being rude in calling without asking but, I knew you'd ask many questions about the P900.
Damn,,,that was you Jalal, you called during Survivor and I "NEVER" answer the phone during Survivor.....But I would have if I had know it was you on a P900.
I would love to see the Mp4's you made. Check your PM.

jalal, that's amazing, im very jealous of you right now!! did you get to just 'play around with it' or is it yours?!! you must know people high up in SE to be able to get your hands on it!
Judging by the video that Jalal sent me of the P900 and it's packaging, the phone will be available "VERY QUICKLY"!!! This is not packaged like my first P800 which was a proto-type and in a box that said as such, this is a commercial packaging job almost like the current P800 packaging. It has the barcode with IMEI and serial numbers on the box as well. So,,,, save your money for an early Christmas present to yourself!!
