Cingular/AT&T combined coverage (large image)

From Cingular's FCC filing:

Don't say I didn't warn you about the size. According to the legend, those are the -85dBm contours for Cingular and AT&T coverage as of 12/03.

Yeah, but I think they still use Smoke Signals in North Dakota, Wyoming, and Montana, so a rotary-dial telephone would be enough high-tech for them.

stupid suncom, holding up all that prime VA real estate...

(If that's on your server, you might want to try downgrading the quality a bit, that's a HUGE file for not a whole ton of detail...

i think that is just Native Cingular & ATT coverage...not with the roaming agreements that they have...which is why there is a lot fo white space...and yes...that is a large file...

Well, no doubt this is native coverage only. Cingular has extensive roaming agreements that brings it up to what you see on their consumer maps. Also, it's 3 months old, which isn't insignificant based on Cingular growth rate.

So, has AT&T and Cingular just not built out a ton of their licenses - based on the map we saw from the Conference Call PDF.

Weirdo, how big is that file in kb? When I download it, it saves as bmp for some reason. I was able to compress it in JPG down to 67.5kb although with a bit less quality. GIF is not as efficient.

If you want to see ATT, Cingular and the roaming agreements, just check out Cingular's GSM Nation map.

This means your internet temporary files folder is full it it's trying to save as untitled.bmp. Empty it out and close windows or refresh page and try again.
