I was so upset about that fake WEP200 and I bought a Real WEP200 from Rogers for $100CAD. The quality is so much better on the Real one! I end up have to pay to ship it back to that ******* and I hope I can get my money back.
I hope everyone understand and learn to how to identify the Real and the Fake Wep200. I am going to post the pictures of both Real and Fake WEP200.
The Left is a REAL WEP200, The Right is a Fake WEP200.
they look like the same, but the quality of the cardboard of the fake one is really poor and cheap!
Sorry to hear about that. Your fake WEP-200 looks different from the one I got. My fake headset itself said "Made in China" when everywhere else on the box, it said it was made in Korea. And the fake WEP-200 came with a much thicker manual than my real one (the fake one had about 8 languages, whereas my real WEP-200 came with just three: English, French, Spanish). And your fake WEP-200 had a gold sticker on the headset (mine didn't). Other than that, the box of my fake WEP-200 looked identical to yours.
When I confronted the seller from ebay (carmenwong0208), he just played it off and was like, "Oh, just send it back and I'll give you a full refund." I was out the shipping to send it back to him, but at least I got my money back. Then the guy had the audacity to ask me to leave him a positive feedback. I usually refrain from leaving negative feedback as most people will leave you a retaliatory one.

WOW
I am all freaked out now. I was just about to purchase one from ebay and came accross this post. Now I don't know if I want to buy it. DID any of you bought the REAL wep200 from an ebay seller?
i just bought mine for 40 bucks (shipping included) thru pricegrabber.com, i believe i got the fake one coz of the box it was big like the one in the picture and the reception was so bad you cant even talk when the phone is in your pocket so i had them switch with a new one and it was perfect it works great loud and clear reception.
LOL, If you look at the buyer's comments on this seller, you'll find multiple post from the same buyer posted the same day/time. Some are a dozen in a row. These possitive comments are sent non other than themselves, so you know they are up to something.
Before you buy on ebay, check for these traits. Scammers do this to get a great possitive ratio (it's typical). Thanks for the info and I hope you get your money back.
I just realized why my headset was having so much trouble connecting to my MDA when everyone else seems to have no problem at all. I should have known when I didn't see the security sticker on top. Bought from a pricegrabber store also. I just emailed the guy. Let's see how legit he is.
