WEP200 BT Headset, Real VS Fake!!! LQQK

I got a fake WEP200 from ebay for $34.99US. Link

I was so upset about that fake WEP200 and I bought a Real WEP200 from Rogers for $100CAD. The quality is so much better on the Real one! I end up have to pay to ship it back to that ******* and I hope I can get my money back.

I hope everyone understand and learn to how to identify the Real and the Fake Wep200. I am going to post the pictures of both Real and Fake WEP200.

The Left is a REAL WEP200, The Right is a Fake WEP200.

they look like the same, but the quality of the cardboard of the fake one is really poor and cheap!

http://img152.imageshack.us/my.php?...cimg3549sp6.jpg
The box of the fake WEP200 is so much bigger than the Real one.

The Real WEP200 has 2 "DO NOT ACCEPT IF SEAL IS BROKEN" sticker but the fake one doesn't.

Look carefully

Real one says "SAMSUNG" on the brand label

FAke one says "SAMSING" on the brand label

Let's look inside the packaging. The Power Adaptor has a Caution Sticker.

The thickness of a Real VS Fake.

That the buttom of the Car Charger

That's the different of the Charger.

At the end, I gave that ebay seller a negative fb and I got one too. *sigh*

Sorry to hear about that. Your fake WEP-200 looks different from the one I got. My fake headset itself said "Made in China" when everywhere else on the box, it said it was made in Korea. And the fake WEP-200 came with a much thicker manual than my real one (the fake one had about 8 languages, whereas my real WEP-200 came with just three: English, French, Spanish). And your fake WEP-200 had a gold sticker on the headset (mine didn't). Other than that, the box of my fake WEP-200 looked identical to yours.

When I confronted the seller from ebay (carmenwong0208), he just played it off and was like, "Oh, just send it back and I'll give you a full refund." I was out the shipping to send it back to him, but at least I got my money back. Then the guy had the audacity to ask me to leave him a positive feedback. I usually refrain from leaving negative feedback as most people will leave you a retaliatory one.

I just got mine for USD 56...

I had the misconception that the pill case had some sort of internal battery that could charge the headset on the go

my bad...

I bought two for $80CAD. Of course they are real. I have to send the fake one back to the seller. *sigh*

I was using the Real WEP200 and the audio quality is perfect! Also, the range is over 10 meters!

Well for Bluetooth 2.0, the range is supposed to be able to reach 100m, not 10m...

I wonder if the fake ones are made by the same factory as the original one, its known to happen for many brands in this region...

you can search here on HF.com. I know that some seller from US is selling the real one and charge a little bit more than those HK seller.

I made the post here just to help ppl to save time on buying, testing, guessing and returning back to the seller....

What is the point?

LOL, If you look at the buyer's comments on this seller, you'll find multiple post from the same buyer posted the same day/time. Some are a dozen in a row. These possitive comments are sent non other than themselves, so you know they are up to something.

Before you buy on ebay, check for these traits. Scammers do this to get a great possitive ratio (it's typical). Thanks for the info and I hope you get your money back.

I just realized why my headset was having so much trouble connecting to my MDA when everyone else seems to have no problem at all. I should have known when I didn't see the security sticker on top. Bought from a pricegrabber store also. I just emailed the guy. Let's see how legit he is.
