I am creating this thread per the suggestions of some members. Because the original thread is so long I will allow this one thread for people to discuss any and all sero questions.
And as an FYI, make sure you get a phone you REALLY like because you're going to have it for awhile. Since the $30 plan is less than the $34.99/mo min to upgrade at a discount, you're looking at full price for getting a new phone (unless, of course, you're on a plan of $49.99+ w/SERO -or- your Employee Referal still works for Sprint, in which case you may upgrade every 12 mo.)
from what i have heard it ends on Dec 31,2006 and someone else listed another email instead of savings@sprint.com
Yeah, openaccess@sprint.com is the other one. Im going to sign up for SERO by the 18th just to be sure, (plus Im going to the bahamma's on the 26th, so I need the phone to arrive by then so its not sitting outside for a week.
It looks like they dropped the free roaming recently. That's a shame, because without free roaming, I'd be in a world of hurt with as much traveling as I do. If they're going to make me pay for roaming, then it looks like no SERO for me.

well call and ask because in one spot it says no free roaming but in another spot it says free roaming. I called yesterday and confirmed that I have free voice and data roaming and I signed up on Monday thru an actual store with the SERO 500 plan.

Yes the only thing that would be hindering my look at sero is inphonic. I have little interest in dealing with that site, for every person that has good luck 12 don't. I don't trust them, it seems more likely that ampd customers will get their rebates than inphonic will get an order right. They told me I had a deposit, I called up Sprint and the girl laughed, shes like based on your credit rating, no deposit. I was like how is that possible and she had no clue.
