Well about time SE came out with a HSDPA phone. Just as suspected they are using the U360 chip in the Z750 (QuadBand GSM/EDGE + TriBand HSDPA).

Now then where is Sofia?

too bad there's no HSDPA 1700, which is required for T-Mobile
I doubt I may become a traitor when other unlocked HSDPA device with 1700 is out

if the build of the w580 is anything similar to the build of the w850, no deal

The Z750 is going to be the first phone in the world that will work world wide on all GSM and 3G networks. No other phone has had QuadGSM + Tri3G. The only thing close would be 2 PDA phones the HTC TyTn and its varients like the Cingular 8525 and Palm Treo 750 but the Treo did not have HSDPA.

Sony Ericsson has answered my prayers . They are giving me a thin quadband walkman slider with a decent d-pad, i could care less about 3G or autofocus. And as a bonus i'm sure that since it is a slider it is going to have regular buttons . Now the only problem is that it won't be released until Q3 .

Ah.... the good ol' days

And i'll be sure to jump on the Z750 when it comes out for a cheap quadband phone. I liked the design of the Z610 but it didn't have 850

My gf would like it too

i just hope that the w580i would have stereo speakers and autofocus in their camera, and hopefully no auto light sensor just like the one on w850i.
