Nice find. Kind of disappointed with the lack of camera but I'm sure others are thrilled that there isn't a camera on there.
Now, if you can find pictures of the rumored Verizon Blackberry Pearl, I'll be one happy camper. Either way, I'm sure my next smartphone will be a Blackberry. Been disappointed by Palm and Windows Mobile. Need to find that device that'll keep me happy.

Here's one. I enter too many government buildings and other places that prohibit camera-phones and/or cameras. That said, I have zero use for a camera on these devices. I have a camera phone, but I never (and I mean, never) use the camera feature. That is not to say that I think these devices should not be built with them--I could careless--but I have no use for the camera features.
If you look at the date on the display, it is Friday, May 25...and May 25 happens to be a Friday this year. Could this possibly be the release date for the 8830?

I would be very surprised to see a VZW Pearl come out on the 7th. All rumors point to a Q4 release with the Cyclone being the earlier Q2 release. The May 7th date comes from a financial analyst with no inside insight into VZW or RIM. In addition, the analyst's guess is tied to RIM stock valuations and not VZW and shows a complete ignorance of VZW release habits.
The analyst predicts the May 7 release date because it's a significant date for RIM (they have some formal financial announcements or something). VZW releases phones after they complete their testing and as it fits within their timeline. It is unlikely for VZW to release a phone for sale to coincide with RIM's financial statements. If anything, May 7th could be the formal announcement of the Pearl being launched on VZW at some point in the future, but it is doubtful it will go on sale that day.
Geez, I cant wait for BB to come out with some fresh phones on VZ network. I was thinking about the VOX but it looks like it will be a BB phone instead.
Well they are clearly not actual product shots. But I would say they look pretty official. Or else a lot of work for a hoaxer to get it from so many angles.

haha I wish I could photoshop that well! Unfortunately those are real shots from the verizon web, they always use dressed up shots when a new phone is being released.
Oh and training for this phone starts the beginning of May so my guess the phone would come out near the end of May.
